Indoor group classes are currently held at St Andrew’s Hall in Tywardreath and Leekseed Chapel in St. Blazey. Obedience training covers all abilities and breeds from puppies to adult dogs. Certificates are awarded for Bronze, Silver and Gold levels. Classes have a maximum of 8 dogs per class and all classes have dogs of mixed abilities, each dog working to their own level at their own pace. All training is given using positive re-inforcement and owners are actively encouraged to work as a team with their dog to bring out the best in them.
All breeds and ages are welcome. For indoor group classes, dogs must be friendly with other dogs and people. Reactive dogs and dogs with behavioural issues generally need one-on-one training and indoor classes are not suitable at all. Please read my article on reactive dog training.
